I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist specializing in state of the art treatments of depression, anxiety and many related conditions. My office is situated in a tranquil and private setting near Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. For over 26 years, I have provided out-patient psychiatric care with an emphasis on psychotherapy to individuals and families.

I am passionate about using methods that utilize the brain’s inherent neuroplasticity to heal longstanding mental conditions and character traits that we used to believe were unalterable. I am very optimistic that people have the ability to heal and grow out of longstanding and seemingly intractable thought and feeling patterns.

For the suffering mind, I integratively treat problems of thinking, feeling and behaviour using cognitive growth practices including Harvard psychologist Robert Kegan’s Immunity To Change Process and a clinical application of The Work of Byron Katie. For the body/brain, I offer medications, reccommendations on diet change, supplements, herbs, and acupuncture.

Because I share with you the most powerful mind/ body methods available for healing and growth, I am comfortable dealing with people who feel they have outgrown conventional approaches or feel that conventional therapy is not getting to the root of their suffering. If medication is indicated for your situation I will offer what may work best for you. If elimination of medication is a realistic possibility, I can offer you a safe way to come off of it.

Payment is expected at the time of service. Upon request I will provide you with a billing receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. It is your responsibility to deal directly with your insurance carrier. If your insurance requires pre-certification for out of network care, I will do my part to obtain it.  I accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
